Punj Lloyd has established a state of the art manufacturing and systems integration facility in Malanpur, near Gwalior, on 65 acres of land.

Capable of manufacturing large bed size components, machining exotic material like titanium, tungsten, special steel alloys and aluminium, this facility will address the needs of the global defence and aerospace industry and will become a hub for artillery, air defence systems, armoured vehicles, upgrades and modifications for Indian Defence requirements.

The manufacturing facility uses top-quality machines, employing advanced production techniques including lean manufacturing in order to meet the exacting quality requirements of customers. The facility has a fully equipped fabrication and heat treatment equipment comprising TIG/MIG welding, water jet cutting machine and stress relieving CAR bottom furnace. The advanced metallurgy and metrology laboratories armed with modern equipment including CMM, micro hardness tester, spectrometers, image analyser, among others.

Besides these, the facility has sophisticated 5 Axes CNC machines including Turn Mill, Mill Turn, Horizontal Machining Centre, Double Column Gantry Machining and Floor Type Machining Centres.
