- Completing a Hydrocracker plant in 39 months and 20 days, the team set a new benchmark, beating the previous best by two weeks.
- Highest safety record of 12.9 million man-hours without lost time injury
- A project of gigantic proportions – 28,000 engineering documents, 5500 RCC piles, 40,000 m3 concrete, 8,000 MT of steel structure, 170 km of piping erection involving 500,000 inch dia welding, 1,500 km of cabling and erection of 370 mechanical equipment weighing 7,500 MT – executed inside an operating refinery
- A feat made possible with the deft combination of diverse cutting edge technologies and in-house engineering expertise
- With the commissioning of the Hydrocracker Unit at Haldia Refinery of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Punj Lloyd became the first Indian company to successfully execute a Hydrocracker Unit on a turnkey basis
